IBC™ MDC Cleaner

Duplex connectivity plays an important role in communications and data transport. As the electronics have advanced over the years, US Conec has driven the evolution of optical connectors by introducing the Very Small Form Factor (VSFF) MDC connector. The MDC connector allows network operators to triple their fiber density at connection points. Proper installation of these new connectors includes thorough inspection and cleaning.  IBC™ Cleaners MDC provides an easy, quick and robust clean with 1 push of the cleaner. 

Although the MDC connector uses 1.25 mm ferrules, standard LC cleaners will not access the MDC connectors behind the bulkhead adapter due to the reduced MDC adapter port size and the smaller pitch between the MDC connectors. The US Conec IBC™ Cleaner MDC has two individual nozzles to clean both ferrules of the MDC connector at the same time, saving precious technician time. The dual nozzle and tip will directly clean MDC connectors installed on cables and the uniquely designed nozzle will access individual behind the wall connectors while not disturbing adjacent MDC connectors.
