Current industry standard cleaners require an extra connector adapter to interface with a cable assembly connector, however, this extra connector adapter must be removed before cleaning connector endfaces that are installed behind bulkhead adapters. This means installers must constantly install and remove this extra adapter as they install the cable assemblies into the optical network increasing their overall installation time. The IBC™ Cleaners LC PLUS and SC PLUS offer an innovative nozzle design that allows endfaces of LC or SC connectors to be cleaned by interfacing the nozzle without the added connector adapter of previous designs. Therefore, installation time due to optical connector cleaning is reduced due to no adapter changes.
IBC™ Cleaners LC PLUS and SC PLUS do not sacrifice quality for the added functionality. The PLUS cleaners use the same industry proven materials and cleaning method design of the standard IBC™ cleaners while adding cleaning capacity. The new PLUS cleaners will clean up to 775 cleans per unit.
